Veterinary Technician of the Year Award
Criteria for Veterinary Technician of the Year are as follows:
- Member in good standing of the DVMA
- Of sound and moral character
- Licensed to practice in the State of Delaware
- Outstanding achievement in veterinary technology
DEADLINE FOR NOMINATIONS: September 15, 2026
Award recipients will be notified by email in late September. Awards will be presented during the DVMA Fall Conference luncheon on October 21, 2026 at 12:00 pm at Chase Center on the Riverfront in Wilmington, DE

The 2024 Veterinary Technician of the Year Award was presented to Natalie Herring in recognition of her dedication to a career of learning and sharing her knowledge as well as serving as a passionate advocate for veterinary technicians in Delaware
