 Michael Dryden, DVM, MS, PhD, DACVM, is an Emeritus University Distinguished Professor of Veterinary Parasitology, at Kansas State University. He received his DVM from Kansas State University, spent 2.5 years in private practice and then received his M.S. & Ph.D. in Veterinary Parasitology from Purdue University. He is the author or co-author of >150 journal articles and >15 book chapters on veterinary parasitology. He has lectured in 22 countries, presenting > 1,000 invited seminars on clinical veterinary parasitology at local, regional, national and international meetings. Dr. Dryden has received numerous teaching, research and service awards throughout his career, including the Pfizer Award for Research Excellence, the KSU Distinguished Service Award from the Kansas Veterinary Medical Association, the Recognition Award in Urban Entomology from the northcentral branch of the Entomological Society of America, an Excellence in Teaching Award from the American College of Veterinary Dermatology, the Veterinarian of the Year presented at the 56th Annual Show Dogs of the Year Awards at the Westminster Dog Show, the American Association of Veterinary Parasitologists Distinguished Parasitologist of the Year and the only veterinary parasitologist to have been named the American Association of Veterinary Microbiologists Distinguished Microbiologist of the Year.

Dr. Jeannette Cremer is an associate professor of anesthesiology at Louisiana State University. Originally from Ulm in Germany, she completed her DVM and Dr.med.vet. at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Germany. Dr. Cremer completed a three-year residency in Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia at the University of Georgia and gained board certification in 2012. Following her residency, she was a Senior Clinical Anesthesiologist at the Animal Health Trust in Newmarket, England for three years. In 2014 Dr. Cremer moved back to the United States, to become a part of the anesthesia team at LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Cremer has been an outstanding VESPECON advisor since 2022 and is here to support you and all of your anesthesia and analgesia needs.

 Wendy Keeler is a Delaware native and now resides in Blackiston on a small farm with her husband. She attended the University of Delaware where she double majored in Animal Science and Agricultural Education. While attending college she worked as a foaling assistant at Winbak Farm in Chesapeake City, MD and more than twenty years later she is still employed seasonally to provide broodmare and neonatal care. After college, she spent a decade in Large Animal Medicine as a nursing assistant at New Bolton Center before making the transition to Small Animal Medicine. In 2014, she obtained her Veterinary Technician Licensure and started to pursue an interest in Small Animal Anesthesia. In 2022, she earned her VTS in Anesthesia and Analgesia. Her special interests include anesthesia for the critical care patient as well as neonatal anesthesia. She has a passion for teaching and supporting technicians that are intimidated by anesthesia. When not in the clinic, she enjoys spending time in Blackbird Forest with her boxer Nash and Haflinger Nicholas.    

Tamara Dobbie, DVM, DACT

 Dr. Dobbie is an Associate Professor of Large Animal Clinical Reproduction in the Section of Reproduction and Behavior at New Bolton Center. Her clinical and collaborative research interests focus on assisted reproduction in the mare - oocyte aspiration and embryo transfer - as well as breeding the problem mare. Dr. Dobbie plays an active role in the veterinary curriculum, especially in laboratory instruction, and training of the reproduction house officers and students.

Regina Turner, VMD, PhD, DACT

Dr. Regina Turner graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Veterinary Medicine in 1989. She completed a residency program in Large Animal Reproduction at New Bolton and became board certified in

Theriogenology in 1994. Between 1995 and 1999, Dr. Turner completed a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology at the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Medicine. After completion of her PhD, she was hired as a faculty member

in the Section of Large Animal Reproduction in Penn’s Veterinary School where she served as Professor of Large Animal Reproduction and Chief of the Section of Reproduction and Behavior. Dr. Turner’s clinical and research

interests have focused on age-related stallion infertility and the molecular and cellular regulation of sperm motility.
